About the role
Ready to shape the future of AdTech at Softonic? You’ll own and evolve our Advertising ecosystem at scale (reaching 100M+ users worldwide), while working alongside experienced, high-impact talent.
This is a Senior hands-on, high-ownership role where you’ll upgrade and optimize our ad stack for revenue generation (demand, ad layout, ways of integration, ad vendor, etc), test and integrate new demand partners and technologies, and collaborate closely with our product/tech team to improve ad infrastructure and push innovation forward. You’ll have real room to experiment, bring ideas to life, and influence multiple parts of the business, supporting our global advertising team, reporting to the Director of Advertising.

Key responsibilities
Lead initiatives and work closely with Engineering, Product Leads, Ad Sales, Advertising, Paid Media teams to achieve revenue operation goals for new products and existing product upgrades.
Managing the implementation, integration and operations of ad technology solution providers (SSPs/DSPs, CMP, DMP, MMP, Ad Server, Video Player, etc. ), experience with mobile in-APP monetisation is preferred.
Eager to build and experiment with AI agents and using modern AI tools to improve workflows and support performance in digital advertising systems.”
Evaluating & selecting new programmatic demand partners strategically for testing & integration to grow advertising revenue and a sustainable ad ecosystem, managing with AdTechvendors on integration requirements and best practices.
Being data-driven is a must - always using data & performance metrics to back up AdTech decisions, analyze trends, discover opportunities, close gaps and prioritize activities and manage/reduce cost.
Stay ahead of Industry & AI trends, be able to initiate projects with the latest technology (particularly adapting AI into advertising business) and bring the business with relevant news and best practices based on research, tech & industry insights.
Must have
+5 years in the Ad-tech space, proven working experience within publisher-side ad serving systems, experience working with product development, engineering, analytics teams with a strong focus on ad tech implementation.
Eager to experimentArchitect scale high-performance revenue streams by engineering custom AI agents and leveraging advanced AI tools to optimize the digital advertising ecosystem.
Advanced knowledge and experience with Ad Servers, such as Google AdManager, etc
Working knowledge of programmatic platforms (SSPs, Ad Exchanges) such as Magnite, Index Exchange, Amazon, AdSense, Google Ad Exchange, etc, important to have the know-how on In-APP monetisation (Applovin, AdMob, Unity, etc).
Experience with Video (VAST, VPAID), SDK and mobile advertising are preferred.
Experience or technical understanding around the use of data- driven advertising and data management platforms.
Proactive, structural with good attention to details and deadline driven.
Problem-solving and solution-oriented skills, motivated to identify new opportunities that can help the revenue team to achieve Softonic goals.
English proficiency.
Strong communication skills for cross-team alignment and collaboration (tech and business teams).
Experience with tech teams using Agile/Scrum software development & methodologies
Basic JavaScript and HTML. Experience in programming and web development, especially scripting (PHP) and XML (preferred).
Knowledge in debugging and HTML proxy tools including Charles, Firebug, Chrome Developer Tools.
