About the position
The Account Manager is responsible for managing the implementation, delivery and optimization of a diverse set of existing customers for online advertising campaigns, signed by the Strategic Partnership Managers.
The Account Manager will work closely with the Strategic Partnership Managers in order to drive results to the client while maximizing revenue for Softonic.
Managing the implementation of the campaigns from a sales and technical standpoint, working with the clients directly. Acting as the primary point of contact for review and implementation of creatives.
Tracking sales metrics on each client and shows a thorough knowledge of the quota in every advertiser & agency, supporting the Strategic Partnership Manager to achieve defined sales objectives.
Managing the reporting tasks according to each clients’ needs.
Responsible for creating invoices for each client according to the time schedule each month.
Work with existing clients to quantify opportunities and help the Strategic Partnership Manager to maximize revenue potential.
Responsible for setting up several touch points with each client for the duration of the campaign in order to assess the success or risks of the account.
In charge of preparing end of campaign presentations, detecting renewal opportunities and presenting them first to the Strategic Partnership Manager and then together to the client.
Supports the Strategic Partnership Manager of the assigned territory in the day to day management of existing clients to ensure successful delivery of the campaigns.
Evaluate Softonic inventory opportunities to maximize our monetization and help the Strategic Partnership Manager with such information for up-selling.
Managing customers’ expectations, asking questions to assess satisfaction with the service being provided.
Gathering the assets needed from the client, process and submit them according to internal processes to Adops team.
Being aligned with Ad Ops team and efficiently communicating with them all the changes and updates in the process of campaign set up as well as all the optimisations needed for the entire duration of the campaign, to ensure it delivers the expected performance.
Collaborate on projects with Catalog and Compliance, Editorial and Sales Ops.
Minimum experience and qualifications
At least 2 years experience in a similar role, with a definite focus on generating business in online advertising.
Experience in working with media agencies for direct and programmatic media buying.
Good understanding of Software B2C or B2B industry and contacts within the Online Advertising market.
Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager and Programmatic buying.
Very good Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong business acumen, passionate about delivering excellent customer experience.
Very strong analytical skills. Highly organized and able to multitask easily.
Ability to track and present in a clear way the delivery of campaign budgets, proposing scenarios of budget reallocation when needed.
A team player who is able to maintain excellent working relationships with clients and internal departments.
Experience working under pressure and being able to prioritize.
Demonstrated ability to deliver and generate value for clients.
Being proactive. Identifying problems and providing solutions, identifying new opportunities that can help the sales department to achieve Softonic goals.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Able to communicate with credibility, trustworthiness, and good judgment when faced with an engaged audience (internal or external)
Ability to work on their own initiative.
Experience with programmatic platforms (SSPs, Ad Exchanges) such as Rubicon, Pubmatic, Liverail, AdSense or Ad Exchange
Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
Google Analytics, Clickview.
Marketing degree, design experience.
