Position / Purpose
As an Agile coach you will be responsible for fostering the practice of Agile methodologies mainly within the Engineering and Product area, coaching teams in order to make sure that teams deliver value in a sustainable manner.
Area & Company level
Coach the product, engineering and management teams regarding good practices of agile methodologies.
Collaborate in tech and product common initiatives that require an organization and facilitation effort.
Assist the product team in the phase of ideas exploration.
Work closely with Engineering Managers in order to identify and apply organizational improvements
Develop training materials and workshops to sustain and grow an agile organisation by distributing knowledge.
Establish practices to promote organisational understanding of Agile roles.
Be the Agile mindset mentor inside the company and promote its values & benefits.
Experience and qualifications
At least 2 years of experience working as an Agile coach, with a great knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, ...).
Coaching and facilitation skills for people and teams.
Knowledge of ALM (Application lifecycle management) tools (Jira, Trello, ...).
Communication Skills: ability to communicate well with technical & non-technical people in an assertive way.
Team player: ready to work in a cross-functional team taking part in the whole development process and sharing good practices.
Personal skills: Being creative, curious, strategic and organized as well as experimental. Being flexible and able to adapt to changing work environments.
Facilitate agile team dynamics, manage continuous improvement and assure a sustained value delivery and good practices maintenance over time.
Ensure team working agreements are respected & updated regularly.
Facilitate refinement sessions helping the team to convert a product idea into the tasks necessary to carry it out from the development team.
Help the product team to refine their business ideas and help them manage the backlog in a satisfactory way.
Facilitate the alignment sessions of the different stakeholders that collaborate in the requests for the same team.
Organize the work so that all parts of a team can improve their efficiency.
Track work progress and help the teams identify blockers and how to deal with them
Promote organisation improvements at all levels, both in the work tools (Jira etc) and in the dynamics of the teams and area.
Help the team adapt to change and manage the uncertainty and implications of complex work.
Coach teams by helping them deal with risk management and decision making, helping them grow as an empowered, autonomous and self-organised group.
Encourage healthy, open, and positive communications and feedback culture.
Facilitate conversations between engineers and product people.
Own agile processes and help achieve a good understanding and collaboration between all the team members, being the person that makes sure that agile principles are respected.
