As our new Senior AdTech, you will be the product owner of Softonic’s AdTech, optimising ad infrastructure, integrating tech & ad demand vendors strategically to guarantee success in advertising business. 


About the position

The Junior Ad Operations Specialist will support our global advertising team and have experience in digital advertising technology and a proven history in working in similar roles. The role will report to the Director of Advertising.


REQUIREMENTS

Key responsibilities

  • Setup and execution of advertising campaigns to ensure on-time and complete delivery of online advertising solutions.
  • Manage basic implementation of ad technology solutions providers (Ad Server, in-house CMS campaign platform, SSPs, etc.)
  • Review and evaluate site configuration in terms of integration with the Ad Server and other third party solutions, keeping minimum error & key operation KPIs on target, and making proactive measures and recommendations to optimize and continuously improve such integration.
  • Use data-drive decisions - using metrics to analyze trends, opportunities, close gaps and prioritize activities and manage/reduce cost.

Minimum experience and qualifications

  • 2 years plus of previous Advertising operations experience required (trafficking campaigns, optimizing campaigns and 3rd party integrations)
  • Experience with ad-serving technologies, including Google Ad Manager (GAM) is required.
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal ways to deliver, traffic, troubleshoot, and QA campaigns.
  • Understanding of RTB and programmatic advertising concepts
  • Experience of direct contact with clients and agencies
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Knowledge of standard online marketing, advertising terms, concepts and brand communication in digital media
  • Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills
  • Desire to establish and improve internal processes to improve efficiency
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with regularly shifting priorities
  • Knowledge Fidller, Google Developer Tools, HTML, JavaScript, Flash, Firebug & Rich Media a huge plus
  • High level of English
  • Strong interest in the internet and new media.
