About the position

The Partnership Account Manager will be responsible for strategic partners from the affiliate side of the business. This person should be focusing the efforts on building long term relations and agreements by using a consultative approach with the existing partners and networks. Should also be able to look outside of existing relationships and be able to add new ones if the opportunity arises. 

The role is the main stakeholder for the management of affiliate agreements and relationships, and premium services for our core partners (mainly while label partners).  

As a Partnership Account Manager you will report to the Head of Partnerships.  

REQUIREMENTS

Key responsibilities

  • Ability to build strategic relations with current partners and develop new ones. 
  • Creative approach in terms of building strategic plans and preparing QBRs for each strategic affiliate partnership. 
  • Evaluate Softonic´s inventory opportunities to maximize our affiliate monetization and develop proposals around such opportunities (upsell, cross sell).
  • Determine client business needs and formulate adequate solutions, maximizing revenue potential and always aiming for a ¨win win¨solution.
  • Effectiveness and openness in communicating with the strategic clients. 
  • Prospect, evaluate, onboard and support affiliate agencies.
  • Successful candidates will also demonstrate a willingness to take charge and work forcefully to achieve results, despite obstacles.
  • Proactively communicate account and overall information to both the affiliate management and affiliate team.
  • Manage the relationship with an affiliate to distribute workload and optimize the efficiency of territory.

Minimum experience and qualifications

  • Passionate about people, account management (farming), partnerships and fast pacing environment.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role as a Partnership or Account manager.
  • Strong knowledge of all core MS Office applications.
  • A plus would be experienced in the IT/ software industry 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • A team player who is able to maintain excellent working relationships with clients and internal departments, willingness to work under pressure, and one who puts the needs of our Clients first.
  • Good understanding of technology and contacts within the Affiliate market.
  • Being proactive. Identifying problems and providing solutions, identifying new opportunities that can help the department to achieve Softonic goals.
  • Deadline driven mentality and flexible person. 
  • Ability to work on own initiative with little supervision from management.
  • Fluent communication in written and spoken English is a must, any other language is a plus.
